This project explores a contemporary interpretation of Indian fine dining, where materiality, light, and rhythm shape a refined yet immersive experience.
A continuous timber envelope defines the space, establishing warmth and cohesion while allowing crafted details and curated elements to emerge with clarity. Suspended metallic pendants introduce a reflective layer, amplifying light and activity, while soft drapery filters daylight to create a calm, atmospheric backdrop.
The dining hall is organised with precision and repetition, reinforcing a sense of order and intimacy. Alongside, an open kitchen is framed as a performative element, partially veiled yet visually connected, blurring the boundary between preparation and dining.
Subtle references to mid-century forms and artisanal objects are integrated throughout, adding character without disrupting the overall restraint. The result is a composed environment where tradition and modernity converge through light, texture, and spatial clarity.
